Methodology

We do not have case studies yet. Here is the system instead.

Most agencies sell proof. We are new enough that we do not have client results we are allowed to publish, and we are not going to borrow, anonymize, or invent them. So evaluate the mechanics.

The short answer

Momentence runs a four-phase engagement: diagnose and instrument, build the foundation, publish and compound, then defend and expand. A senior strategist owns the account throughout, production is AI-accelerated and human-edited, and every month you get a written report that includes what did not work.

  • Month 1 diagnoses and instruments, months 2 to 3 build the foundation, months 4 to 6 publish and compound
  • Weekly written updates, monthly reporting with ranked next actions, quarterly strategy reset
  • Honest ranges on timelines, never a guaranteed ranking or a guaranteed citation

The engagement

What each phase actually produces.

Deliverables, not hours. If a phase does not produce an artifact you own, it is not in scope.

Days 1 to 30

Diagnose and instrument

Technical audit, ICP and query mapping, competitive gap analysis, analytics and conversion tracking, and internal link architecture. Nothing gets published before the map exists.

  • Technical SEO audit with prioritized fixes
  • Query map covering problem, solution, and vendor-comparison intent
  • Competitive gap analysis against your real SERP competitors
  • Working GA4 and conversion tracking you can trust

Days 31 to 90

Build the foundation

Money pages and bottom-of-funnel assets ship first, technical fixes land, AEO structure goes in across the site, and paid experiments start buying message signal.

  • Bottom-of-funnel pages: comparison, alternatives, use case, integration
  • Entity schema, llms.txt, and answer-first restructuring
  • First content cluster live and internally linked
  • Paid experiments running for message and segment signal

Days 91 to 180

Publish and compound

Fixed publishing cadence, monthly iteration on what moved, and the winning paid message converted into permanent organic assets.

  • 4 to 20+ net-new pages per month depending on tier
  • Monthly citation tracking across your category prompt set
  • Refresh and expansion of pages sitting on page two
  • Conversion rate work on the pages already earning traffic

Month 7 onward

Defend and expand

Topical authority is a moat once it exists. This phase is about widening it, protecting existing rankings, and building the link-earning assets that raise the ceiling.

  • Original data or free-tool assets built to earn links
  • Expansion into adjacent clusters and new verticals
  • Systematic refresh of decaying pages
  • Quarterly strategy reset against changed competitive reality

Cadence

How often you hear from us.

Predictable rhythm. No surprise silence, no status-meeting theater.

Weekly

Written async update: what shipped, what is next, what is blocked. No status call required.

Monthly

Performance report with rankings, citations, traffic, conversions, and pipeline influence, plus ranked next actions and an honest list of what did not work.

Quarterly

Strategy reset: re-run the competitive gap analysis, re-prioritize clusters, and formally revisit whether the tier still fits.

Always

Shared Slack channel with the senior strategist who owns your account.

Expectations

Honest ranges, not promises.

These are how the channels behave. They are not forecasts for your account, and anyone who gives you one of those is guessing with confidence.

What we will not do

The uncomfortable list.

  • Publish client logos or results we have not earned or cannot share
  • Guarantee a ranking position or an AI citation, because neither is ours to guarantee
  • Report MQLs as pipeline
  • Run outbound SDR, cold email, or purchased lists
  • Sell you a tier you do not need to hit a revenue number
  • Keep publishing into a strategy we can see is not working

FAQ

Questions we get asked before signing.

Momentence is a new firm and we do not have client results we can publish yet. Rather than borrow, anonymize, or invent them, we publish the system itself so you can evaluate the mechanics. When we have client outcomes we can share with permission, they will appear here with real numbers.

Paid media can produce qualified conversations within weeks. Organic search typically shows first movement on long-tail terms inside 90 days, with meaningful compounding over 6 to 12 months. AEO citations on tuned pages usually begin appearing within 90 days. Those are ranges from how the channels behave, not promises about your account.

Because the compounding channels do not produce inside a quarter. A 3-month engagement guarantees you pay for the build phase and leave before the return phase. We would rather turn down work than set that up.

A senior strategist owns your account and does not hand off after the sale. Production is AI-accelerated and human-edited, which is how we ship at pace without a junior-heavy team.

Roughly 30 to 60 minutes of subject matter expert time per month, timely review turnaround, and access to your analytics and site. Programs that stall almost always stall on review latency, not agency capacity.

You get told in the monthly report, in writing, before you have to ask. We name what we tried, what failed, and what changes next month. If the diagnosis turns out to be that we are the wrong partner, we say that too.

Evaluate the system, then decide.

Thirty minutes. We will walk your first 90 days concretely, name the tier that fits, and tell you honestly if the answer is no. Start with our SaaS SEO agency page or the AEO agency page if you want the channel detail first.
