Proof/Website before and after
One product page section, rebuilt with the reasons shown.
A single section from Northlane, a fictional B2B SaaS company, taken through our conversion rebuild process.
The short answer
A Momentence website rebuild starts from the job of the section, not the visual design. We document the conversion problems in the original, make one change per problem, state the reason, and then measure the section rather than the whole page.
- Outcome-led headline, capability plus consequence, and proof with a claim attached
- Two conversion paths so visitors who are not demo-ready still convert
- Semantic structure and schema so the section is quotable by answer engines
- Mobile scroll cost treated as a conversion problem, not a styling detail
Example data. Northlane is a fictional B2B SaaS company we use to show the exact format of our deliverables. Nothing on this page is a client result.

Book a demo
- The headline named the product category, not the outcome, so a first-time visitor could not tell what changed for them.
- Three feature cards described capabilities with no stated consequence, which is the most common wasted section on a B2B software page.
- The only call to action was Book a demo, above the fold and again at the bottom, with nothing for a visitor who was not ready.
- Proof was a logo strip with no claim attached, which reads as decoration rather than evidence.
- The section had no scannable answer to what the product does, so answer engines had nothing quotable to cite.
- On a 375 pixel viewport the three cards stacked into a 1,900 pixel scroll before any call to action appeared.

Decision log
Every change, and the reason for it.
Rebuild decision log
| Element | Before | After | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Headline | Unified compliance workflow platform | Cut review time without losing the audit trail | Outcome first. The category name belongs in the subhead, not the headline. |
| Subhead | Absent | One sentence naming who it is for and the mechanism | Gives both the reader and answer engines a quotable definition. |
| Feature cards | Three capability blurbs | Three capability plus consequence pairs | A capability with no stated consequence does no persuasive work. |
| Proof | Unlabeled logo strip | One specific claim per proof item, with the source named | Unattached logos are decoration. Attached claims are evidence. |
| Calls to action | Book a demo, twice | Primary demo plus a secondary low-commitment path | Most visitors are not demo-ready, and forcing one path loses them entirely. |
| Structure | Marketing copy in divs | Semantic headings, one H1, FAQ block with schema | Makes the section eligible for answer results and easier to crawl. |
| Mobile | 1,900 pixels before a call to action | Call to action inside the first 700 pixels | Over half of first sessions on this page were mobile. |
Measured
What we report after a section rebuild.
Section performance
| Measure | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Demo requests from this page | 1.4 percent of sessions | 3.1 percent of sessions |
| Secondary path conversions | None existed | 4.6 percent of sessions |
| Scroll depth past the feature band | 31 percent | 62 percent |
| Largest contentful paint, mobile | 3.9 seconds | 1.6 seconds |
Example figures on a fictional account. We measure the rebuilt section specifically, so a win somewhere else on the page cannot be credited to this work.
