About Momentence

Software growth changed. Most agencies didn't.

Momentence is the growth engine we wished existed when we ran marketing inside software companies: one team, one roadmap, AI in the production loop, senior operators in the strategy loop.

Brand genesis

Two words, one operating principle.

The name is a blend. We took the outcome every software company actually wants and the discipline that produces it, then fused them.

MOMENTENCE

momentum + cadence = momentence

01

momentumnoun.

mass in motion

The result. Compounding is the whole point: rankings, citations, content, and pipeline should be worth more in month twelve than in month one, without you spending more to keep them there.

02

cadencenoun.

the beat that produces it

The method. Momentum is not luck, it is the output of a rhythm you can set a calendar to: pages shipped weekly, experiments run weekly, a written update every Friday.

Momentum is the result. Cadence is the method. Momentence is what happens when a growth program finally has both, which is why our methodology is built around a weekly beat rather than a quarterly campaign.

Why we exist

The old playbook stopped compounding.

The growth engine software companies used a decade ago, a marketing site, a blog, some Google Ads, and a monthly retainer with an agency, quietly stopped working.

Buyers no longer start on Google alone. AI answer engines shortlist vendors before a human ever clicks a link. And the pace of shipping pages, content, and ad creative became the real constraint on pipeline, not budget.

Momentence exists because I kept watching the same thing happen. I have spent my career building growth systems for software companies, and the old playbook, a site, a blog, and some ads, stopped compounding right as buyers started asking AI answer engines who they should shortlist.

I am a 5x founder with an MBA from Wake Forest University, specializing in Leadership & Strategy, and I build software as well as market it. I founded Triad Search Marketing, an AI-powered growth shop for local and mid-market businesses. I founded Lucidly, a customer success platform with AI revenue agents. I founded Rocklane Strategy, a GTM consultancy for post-Series A SaaS teams. And I founded Managed Outbound, an ABM and sales ops firm for software companies. I also operate Cobalt Glacier, an AI venture studio that builds and keeps AI-native B2B SaaS brands, and I am a VC in Residence with LvlUp Ventures.

That means I sit on both sides of the table, running growth for software companies, plus owning strategy and the P&L. Every recommendation Momentence makes is one I have to live with somewhere else too. So we publish our pricing, write down what shipped every Friday, and put our recommendation in writing, including when the honest recommendation is not to hire us.

How we work

What you can count on from the team

Named ownership per function

Strategy, SEO, AEO, content, paid, design, engineering, and analytics each have a published owner and accountability.

See the delivery model

One team, one roadmap

Site, SEO, AEO, GEO, content, and paid run as a single system instead of separate vendors.

AI in the production loop

AI accelerates research, drafting, and page builds. Humans own strategy, review, and QA.

Inspect the artifacts

6-month minimum term

We only take engagements long enough for compounding search and pipeline gains to show up.

Published pricing

Every tier, deliverable, and add-on price is public before you ever book a call.

The software companies that win this cycle will be the ones whose site, content, SEO, AEO, GEO, and paid media move as one system, at AI speed, with senior operators in the loop.
The Momentence bet

How we work

One engine, not five vendors.

01

AI in the loop, humans in the seat

AI compresses production, sites built in weeks, dozens of pages a month, ad creative iterated weekly. Senior operators own narrative, brand, and the calls that actually determine outcomes.

02

One roadmap, one team, one dashboard

Site, content, SEO, AEO, GEO, and paid run on a single quarterly plan with one point of contact. No five reports from five vendors that never quite agree.

03

Transparent by default

Published pricing. Written weekly updates. We tell clients when they're wrong, including about hiring us.

Who we work with

Partners, not vendors.

Our clients are B2B software and SaaS companies, from post-seed teams finding their first repeatable channel to Series B and later companies rebuilding their growth stack for the AI era.

We ship the same operating rhythm every week for as long as we work together: a six-month minimum, a shared roadmap, and a written update every Friday. If we're not the right fit, we say so up front.

See if Momentence is the right engine for your next cycle.

Book a 30-minute call and we'll walk through your current growth stack, where it's leaking, and whether we're the right team to fix it.
