What we collect, and what we do with it.
Momentence is a growth systems partner for B2B software companies. This page describes every place this website collects information, in plain language. Last updated September 2026.
The contact form
When you submit the form on our contact page we store your name, work email, company, website, an optional package interest, and what you wrote about your goals. We use it to reply to you and to run our own sales follow-up. Only Momentence staff can see it.
We also store the campaign parameters on the link you arrived through, the page you landed on, and the referring site. That tells us which of our own pages produce real conversations. It is marketing measurement, not profiling, and it is never sold or shared with advertisers.
The AI discovery technical hygiene snapshot
The tool reads four publicly available files on the domain you enter: the homepage HTML, robots.txt, llms.txt, and sitemap.xml. It never signs in, never submits forms, never touches pages behind a login, and never scans internal or private network addresses. Requests are rate limited to prevent the tool being used against third parties at volume.
We store the domain you entered, your email, optional name and company, and the resulting score so we can email you the scorecard and follow up once. Enter a domain you own or are authorized to evaluate.
Downloads, calculators, and reports
Gated downloads, the fit calculator, and report access store the email address you provide plus which asset you requested, so we can send the file and follow up. Fit calculator answers are stored with your scorecard so our reply is specific rather than generic.
Analytics and tags
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to count visits, page views, and conversion events in aggregate. We do not send form contents or names to analytics. Browser-level controls and ad blockers will prevent this collection, which is fine by us.
Your first-touch source is stored in your browser's local storage on your first visit so a later conversion credits the right channel. Clearing site data removes it.
Analytics runs by default and you can turn it off at any time. Choose "Decline analytics" in the cookie notice, or reopen the choice later with the Cookie preferences link in the footer. Declining stores a single preference value in your browser and disables Google Analytics for you. Nothing else on the site changes.
Transactional email, such as your snapshot scorecard or a requested download, is sent through our email infrastructure and includes an unsubscribe link. We do not send newsletters or bulk marketing campaigns from this site.
How long we keep it, and how to have it removed
We keep lead records for as long as there is a plausible commercial conversation, and we remove them on request. Email sales@momentence.com from the address in question and ask us to delete your details. We will confirm in writing within four business days.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers that host our site, database, analytics, and email, each acting on our instructions.
